Winterguard
About the Jaguar Winterguard
The º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard was created to foster positive experiences for all who participate, by promoting education, creativity, and freedom of expression through pageantry and the performing arts. The º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard is open to all students at º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× who are members of the Jaguar Marching Band. The members of the º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard perform as a visual unit that strives for excellence, education, and entertainment for our audience and members of the team.
Members must be full-time students at º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× to participate in the Winterguard and be a member of the Jaguar Marching Band. The º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard technique course rehearses Mondays from 4:00-5:00pm. The competitive º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard rehearses Monday and Thursdays from 5:00-8:00PM during the spring semester. All members of the º£½ÇÒùĸÂÒÂ× Winterguard must enroll in the appropriate section for the University Winter Guard Course (MUO 131).
